The G.T.S. Pizza is coming back to Ian’s Pizza just in time for Thanksgiving.

The pizza — inspired by WWE Superstar CM Punk and his finishing move The G.T.S (Go To Sleep) — features smoked turkey leg, sliced potatoes, swiss cheese and French fried onions and will be available at Ian’s Pizza from November 21-27.

Punk visited Ian’s to make the pizza himself when it was available in July. The former WWE Champion was joined by WWE Diva Beth Phoenix and fellow wrestler Colt Cabana.

"The G.T.S. pizza is the best in the world," Punk said in the press release. "But would you expect anything less from a pizza inspired by me?"

Customers who purchase a slice of The G.T.S. Pizza will become eligible to win an Ian’s t-shirt autographed by Punk and other official Punk merchandise.

Punk will face Alberto Del Rio for the WWE Championship at Survivor Series November 20.

Celebrity Dish: Ian’s CM Punk-inspired pizza

Ian’s Pizza in Wrigleyville has added a pizza inspired by WWE superstar and Chicago-area native CM Punk to its menu for a limited time.

The G.T.S pizza — named after Punk’s finishing move, which stands for “Go To Sleep” — features smoked turkey leg, sliced potatoes, swiss cheese and French fried onions on a creme fraiche base.

Why smoked turkey leg?

“The G.T.S. is his signature move,” said Ian’s managing partner Dimitri Syrkin-Nikolau by email, "so a meat that puts you to sleep is the perfect choice.”

The pizza will be available Monday through Sunday and was created for SugarSlam 2011, the wrestling-themed baking contest hosted by bakeanddestroy.com (you can watch Ian’s video on the G.T.S. pizza by clicking here). The judge panel for the contest features WWE Diva Beth Phoenix, Moto executive pastry chef Ben Roche and author Mike Edison.

Fabiola, the webmiss of CMPunk.com has asked me to pass this message along to you guys. She and Punk are planning a contest and they need your input:

Here is the deal guys, I need your help. It is still undetermined what will be sent out in return but we are thinking of doing a contest with all you punks out there. The only thing is, we don’t know what sort of contest. We want to hear from you and what you guys think is the best way of determining a few winners. Keep in mind, I don’t want the entrees to be something that you have to mail in, email is fine. What do you all suggest as a contest for cmpunk.com so let’s hear your ideas. Please respond on the forums (there is a post) and when it’s decided what is the best contest idea, that will be posted on the site so keep your eyes open for that.

THE FORUMS.

Be sure to head over there and post your suggestions!
