Why Punk?
CM Punk is my hero, plain and simple. He’s inspired me in so many ways. I’ve followed his career throughout the indies and now in the WWE. He’s got such strong morals, and sticks by them no matter what. He is real, and with him what you see is most definitely what you get. Straight Edge isn’t just a gimmick for him, it’s what he truly is. I have so much respect for him as both a person and as a wrestler. He puts his heart and soul into the business and you see it, everytime he goes out to the ring. He’s such a positive role model, he shows that you don’t have to drink and do drugs to be cool. There are so many other things in life that are WAY more important than filling your body with those harmful toxins. I was so happy when he FINALLY won the WHC because I knew how hard he’d worked just to get to that point in his career. He truly deserves everything he’s gotten thus far, because of all the hardwork and dedication he’s put into his craft. He’s a unique person, with an amazing personality. He’s taught me that, you should always stand up for what you believe in, even if you’re standing alone, also "Sometimes it’s what you DON’T do that makes you who you are". He’s just simply better than everyone.

Why Punk?
I first saw him on ECW and even though I immediately thought he was super cool, he didn’t become an instant favourite of mine. However, as I kept watching his matches, I noticed how hard of a worker he truly is and how much he respects the business. I was also very impressed with his general attitude towards his lifestyle. He really is a genuine person. His WWE work prompted me to watch a bit of his non-wwe stuff which was great ’cause I got to see some more terrific facets of his in-ring style and promo work. And as far as the promo work goes, the dude is beyond hilarious. But he can also be serious and when he is, it’s simply riveting. He kinda reminds me of Edge in that sense which is a very good thing ’cause Edge’s mic work is among the best in the WWE. But anyway, back to Punk–needless to say, he did in fact become one of my favourites rather quickly so I’m really glad I decided to keep watching him after that first night.
